Class Trailers

Watching the class trailers for Jedi Knight, Sith Warrior and the latest, Sith Inquisitor one, I am sure I came across a recurring theme – people being thrown into chasms. The only thing I could think of is that “300” version of King Leonidas would approve of this. As a matter of fact, I think Bioware would do good to hire Gerard Butler for an ad campaign that would have him say things like “THIS IS SWTOR!” kicking an unsuspecting Orc off of a cliff.

I’m picturing WAR’s Tier 3 scenario, Tor Anroc, right now… Everyone get ready to get knocked off into the [insert environmental hazard of doom here]!

If you listen to the picture hard enough, you can almost make out the Wilhelm Scream™ too…

The Jedi Knight armor progression video also had someone getting punted, into a shaft, iirc, so not as dramatic.

Punting is definitely a cross-class theme.

Tor Anroc was epic. Lots of people hated it, but I absolutely loved it. The most epic thing I ever saw was a Chaos Sorceror who got booted into the lava activated his vortex ability at the last minute and yanked about half the opposing team in with him. It was amazing.

That is about right! Knockback needs to be replaced by stun. Its not just annoying, but downright insulting when you are about to kill a ball carrier in Huttball only to be knocked off the platform. Bioware really needs to tone down the CC in this game.
